Vamp bags originated in 2005 with the goal of developing a sustainable animal friendly business in the most
environmentally conscious way possible. The first Vamp Bags were made of recycled vintage clothing. The name
was derived from the tagline on the bags, ‘you’ve been re-Vamped’. Since then, the bags evolved to be made of
environmentally friendly materials with enhanced style and luxury.
Vamp Bags are handmade here in Denver, CO. Materials used are European faux leather produced in accordance
with European Green Emissions Standards and an American made fabric coated with a water based lacquer.
Additionally, the interior padding on many bags is 100% post-consumer recycled product.
